Our Journey

Our Journey

What a journey we have been on here at Carlingford for the last few years. We have had walls fall down, our building flooded, No permanent Minister since 2019, Covid to contend with, Church locked downs, Zoom meetings, mask wearing and on it goes. HOWEVER, we have been extremely fortunate to have had wonderful leadership from both Richie Dulin, and (now) Rev. Gail Hinton for the past two years and some months. We have been refreshed with many wonderful sermons, we have encouraged each other, and we have shared a belief in Jesus Christ that everyone is valuable in God’s eyes. We Have been encouraged by Gail to practise our discipleship in being called to be a worshipping, living, serving community, to encourage each other, and to reach out to those who surround our church locally, by engaging them. Our church’s mission field goes beyond its membership to include all people God calls us to serve. We thank Gail for her encouragement, her walk with us in our next step to call a Minister of the Word to Carlingford, and to recognise the Vision we have as a Congregation to minister to the people in the High Rise that surround our Church. Gail, God’s richest Blessings to you, as you embark on your new Ministry in your first placement.
