Pastoral Partners is a ministry of building relationships and offering care to others. Pastoral Partners are members of the Carlingford Uniting Church congregation. Pastoral Partners commit themselves to care for a small group of people in a non-intrusive and neighbourly way. They are people who make the effort to get alongside people and, in time, to get to know them well. They are people who provide support in joyous times and at times of sadness.
They are prepared to invest time in training and mutual support and have a wish to grow meaningful relationships. A Pastoral Partner is a team person and one who undertakes to pray for those with whom they are building relationships.
To get in touch with a Pastoral Partner, please leave a message on the Get in touch page, by selecting "Pastoral Care" in the drop-down menu.
Baptism is the sign of belonging in the Christian faith and the membership of the Church. Baptism occurs as part of the regular Sunday church service. We welcome and encourage people of faith - children and adults - to be baptized.
