Easter - The Promise of Eternal Life.

As Christians worldwide anticipate Easter, the significance of this holiday transcends mere observance, traditions, or ceremonies—it embodies the heart of our Christian faith and our hope of redemption. Jesus’ resurrection was a historical event that symbolizes forgiveness, renewal, and the promise of eternal life.

With Easter morning symbolizing a new beginning, a renewed excitement of the essence of life, love, and peace being reborn—a celebration of the transformative power embedded in this special holiday by Jesus’ conquering of sin and death.  Easter unveils Hope personified in Jesus Christ. This significant event surprised the world as it bridges the future with the present, offering a profound revelation that transcends time and transforms existence. “The resurrection of Christ changed the midnight of bereavement into a sunrise of reunion; it changed the midnight of disappointment into a sunrise of joy; it changed the midnight of fear to a sunrise of peace.” Billy Graham.

The mission of the Church, extends beyond physical structures and even our local communities, aiming to ensure that the entire world hears about the redemptive and completed work accomplished through the cross. “Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! O what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God. Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.” Fanny J. Crosby.

Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia! Earth and heaven in chorus say, Alleluia! Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia! Sing, ye heavens, and earth reply, Alleluia!” —Charles Wesley
