Ministry

Effective 1 November 2024, Rev Tennyson Chan commenced his ministry as Minister/Church Plant of the Carlingford and West Epping Uniting Church congregations.
Rev Tennyson joins Ministry Team Leader, Rev 'Oto Faiva, focusing on the establishment of a new worship community at Carlingford based on the high/medium density developments in the area surrounding our churches.  Initially, the specific focus will be on the Carlingford Precinct Area. 

Carlingford Uniting Church is embarking on an exciting chapter in its life as the Congregation and Church Council have endorsed a model of ministry and mission with the nearby West Epping Uniting Church.

Pastoral Partners

Pastoral Partners is a ministry of building relationships and offering care to others. Pastoral Partners are members of the Carlingford Uniting Church congregation.  Pastoral Partners commit themselves to care for a small group of people in a non-intrusive and neighbourly way. They are people who make the effort to get alongside people and, in time, to get to know them well. They are people who provide support in joyous times and at times of sadness. 

They are prepared to invest time in training and mutual support and have a wish to grow meaningful relationships. A Pastoral Partner is a team person and one who undertakes to pray for those with whom they are building relationships.
